EGT/CHT Wire Routing

Is it ok to route the EGT and CHT wires alongside the ignition wires, or do they need to be separated from them?  Are there any other routing considerations I need to be aware of?

That doesn't appear as an issue on the aircraft I've wired, I use 18awg shielded wire and use the shield as the 'ground' return - ie shield onto the mag ground screw and ground screw on ACS switch or other side of toggle switch if that was used instead.
