EGT labels

I have 4 EGT probes, one for each cylinder. I have labeled these in the setup as EGT1, EGT2, EGT3, and EGT4. I see the 4 EGT readings on the graph, but the cylinder numbers are not displayed--only 4 numbers at the bottom of the bar graph. All 4 read 75 degrees F (correct). Should the "1", "2", "3", and "4" appear along with the "EGT" label?

Thanks,
Mike

I'm pretty sure you can set it up with the labels you want in the 50% page, depending on which widgets you choose.
In the bottom band display I've not seen it, probably due to space limitations, and there would be a confusing amount of numbers.

Hi Glenn,

I should say that I have installed all the Dynon system components and I am playing with the setup and configuration.

1. On some screens, I can see "CHT L" and "CHT R" with the correct (room) temperatures displayed. On the screen below, I see 100 and 27 displayed with no labels. What are those?? Maybe MAX and MIN? But there are 2 CHT sensors... ??

2. See the 4 EGTs on the screen below. No labels, but looks like plenty of room? I looked in the sensor mapping and they are setup to display "EGT 1", etc.

Thanks for your help,
Mike

Attached is a different photo. Inside the graph it shows 75 and 76 degrees F for the Left and Right CHTs respectively. These are correct readings. At the top of the graph, "99" and "26" are displayed... What are these numbers? When I play with the screen editor, these values show up as CHT readings (incorrect). For the life of me, I cannot figure out what these two numbers are! Help!

Thanks,
Mike

What engine do you have? If it's a Lycoming or Continental, I can't help but wonder if this has something to do with lean of peak readings.

Rotax 912ULS. No mixture control for leaning on the Rotax 912ULS. I thought it might be related to the temperatures for the ranges (e.g. green, yellow, red...) Those values have not been programmed yet. The engine has not been started yet. Maybe it is something that is associated with the EGT/CHT setup. It's puzzling...
