I am upgrading avionics in my RV-4. Today I was installing the EGT probes utilizing the existing locations of the old probes that were removed. In two locations, the Dynon EGT probe has a slight interference with the spark plug cap. The old RMI CHT probe had a 90 degree bend thereby eliminating any interference. My question is can the Dynon EGT probe be bent slightly to eliminate the interference or do I have to drill a new hole in my exhaust stacks and relocate the probes?
