Electro-optical level sensors on a SV-EMS-221

How do you hook up and configure Optical Liquid Level Sensors using a SV-EMS-221?

Does the SV-EMS-221 supplies constant 5 or 12V DC current or do I need a separate rectifier?

The EMS supplies both 12v (pin 15 Red) and 5v (pin 18 White/Red). The 12v is mostly used for the fuel flow while the 5v line is designed to be split and attach to most other sensors. Check the pin out listing for the EMS on page 7-6 of the current Installation Manual. I have just such a sensor on my hydraulic resevoir. I set it to a contact sensor. It works great.
