EMS Carb temp ranges

I installed Dynon supplied 1/4-28, -50 to 150 deg f on side marvin schebler carburetor. Ive never had carb temp before. Would appreciate some suggestions for red? yellow and green temperature ranges please. Something to start with. I understand concern for freezing but have no idea what temperature upper and lower limits are realized at venturi, probably within -50 to 150 deg f.

FWIW my settings, in degrees Fahrenheit are:

0 - 35 = RED
36 - 45 = YELLOW
46 - 130 = GREEN
131 - 140 = YELLOW
141 - 150 = RED

My theory is the colors and alarms are there to let me know to do something BEFORE it becomes a problem, not to tell me that a problem has already happened. YMMV

I research some online and the results for carb temps are very similar to your settings. Anything under 41 deg f is of concern. Thanks i am going to copy your numbers
