I have a 2009 Evektor Sportstar Max with 912ULS Rotax.

1. My D120 is not connected to the EFIS D100. Msg says that no device found.
What should I do?

2. My EMS D120 shows Hobbs hours as 5410+ while it should be around 1250 or so, that was the last annual overhaul reading in Dec 2024 Annual. I have only flown about 30 hours since then. BTW, there is no Tach display - I have read in the manual for D120 that with Gloabl option of Rotax, it will only show Hobbs - not Tach
What can I do to correct it?

Will greatly appreciate any advise/help.

Warm regards.

1. Check the DSAB connection. That's 2 (likely awg22) wires (green and white on the dynon wire harness). They are responsible for the communication between the devices. You can check connectivity via the dsab settings from setup.

2. You can set the meter via the ems settings to any value you like. The timer starts with the engine running and ends when the engine stops, I believe it's based on oil pressure or rpm. If you don't have a Rotax, I think one of the two meters is based on the set cruise rpm. If that is low, your meter will count much faster than it should. Generally, those meters also count 0.1 decimal minutes and it's always rounding off. So 35min are 30min, etc.
