EMS display

I just finished installing the EMS D10-A in my Long EZ with all options. All was working well. However, last night was cooler than usual (40 degrees F.) When I went to dim the display, it got dimmer as expected but then started to flicker even dimmer. When I tried to adjust the display back to maximum brightness it would only adjust to about half max. After a few moments the display went to maximum brightness by itself. Trying to adjust back down to a dimmer setting, the same scenario took place. After about 10 minutes the display dimming was working correctly. Voltage was 13.5 V and everything else electrical appeared to be functioning properly. Any ideas what would cause this problem.

This sounds like an artifact of the unit coming up to temperature internally. Although this artifact only presents itself in the first few minutes of operation, we've identified a way to improve the dimming behavior.
