EMS Fail/ADAHRS Fail messages during init w/ 430W

I noticed on a couple of occasions recently that while the 430W was initializing and doing it's thing (displaying the ILS loc and G/S bars as half-up, half-left, etc.), I got a brief ADAHRS Fail message or an EMS Fail message (not both at once, and during different boot-ups). Each lasted only a few seconds, then cleared and all was normal after that.

Mind you, this is still in the garage/workshop, and nothing has changed wiring-wise or anything over several months now (getting ready to move the plane to the hangar this week, though :) ).

I have not seen this behavior before, and it only happened a couple of times, but it's a bit disconcerting...is this a problem? What should I check?

After clearing the failures, the SV behaved absolutely normal and without recurrence for the remainder of the time (5-10 minutes or so). And it doesn't do it every time, either.

That's a little odd. That would imply that the SkyView Network is being adversely affected by the 430W, which shouldn't be possible. If you pop the 430W-side connector off the SV-ARINC-429, does that change anything?

Also, does that event coincide with any other part of SkyView powering up? Servos? The second display, if you have one? Any time SkyView Network components are powered on/off, you can have an momentary lapse like that as the network reconfigures itself.

I'll do a little troubleshooting tomorrow, per your questions. No second display, but now that you mention it, I think I saw a message (Warning?) about redundant network or backup network or something like that.

This may just be one of those idiosyncracies of boot for this system...we'll see.

Like, I said, until now, it's performed flawlessly (in the garage, of course :) ).
