I installed a dual Skyview system in my airplane. Meanwhile almost all is working, except EGT 2 and CHT 4. I connected the "failed" sensors to the other, working wires to check the sensors and they worked. It is always EGT2 and CHT4 which is blanked out on the display. I can see all the pins on the D-sub connector which goes into the EMS.
I could measure the cable/wires or look inside the connector for broken leads.
Could it be the EMS which is not working, does anybody had a similar problem?

Very unlikely that it's the EMS, if some of the inputs work. I'd bet on the wiring upstream of the connector and downstream of the pin. Have you checked for continuity on the bad wires?

Ok, today I approached the problem with some more systematic. Checked the continuity of the wires from the connectors to the D-sub connector and there was none. I found bad crimps on the connectors I made to the harness. Corrected this and all is fine now.
