I allready had 3.1.1   Now sucessfully updated to 3.2  Do I have to dowload and install this new file also?  If so, do I have to export and save my old definitions (layout)? I don't want to loose my EMS layout... :-[

I upgraded to 3.2 (from 3.1.1) including the sensor definitions file and my Layout was unaffected. You do not have to upload a new EMS layout file, just the definitions file.

The only change I noted in EMS layout was my "fuel remaining" font was a little larger than it was so I had to adjust its position slightly in the 20% page. No biggy.

One unusual thing that I have noticed is that the tach is a little jumpy now. It's not unusable/unreliable by any means but every 10 seconds or so it flashes an extra 100 rpm (roughly) for a split second then reverts back to the actual rpm reading. My tach signal comes directly from my P-Mag and I do not have any resistors installed. This didn't happen with any of the other versions from 2.5 to 3.1.1. Nothing else was changed except for the software upgrade.

There have been revs of the sensor file definition that have fixed things, and some that have added support for other sensors. This is the latter. So basically, if everything works, you shouldn't have to update it. At the same time, it also shouldn't hurt to load it. We try to be explicit when you REALLY need to update something. In this release, you don't need to, unless you're using a newly supported sensor (like the GRT hall effect amps sensor).
