Hello,

I am converting from a Rocky Mountain uMonitor to the SV-EMS-220.  The Rocky Mountain unit required shielded wire for most all of the sensors.  In reading the SV installation manual there is no reference made to using shielded cable for the sensors.  Can someone please confirm this is the case.  Not having to mess with grounding the shields at the connector would be really nice.

Thank you.

They're generally not necessary for individual EMS sensors. There are places, like in the COM/Intercom wiring, that shielded wire is absolutely essential. When it's necessary, we specify it in our installation documentation.
