EMS warning messages delayed?

I installed an external EMS red warning light, using pin 29. I really like that feature, since a flashing light is more likely to catch my attention. I noticed, though, that even though warning conditions exist as soon as the SkyView has booted up (like zero oil pressure), it takes a few minutes before the SkyView issues a warning message. Is that a feature, maybe to give me time to start the engine before worrying about irrelevant warnings?

Oops, 'just figured it out: there is a setting for this under the setup menu that per default inhibits warnings until the engine starts or five minutes have passed ...

See you installed a warning light. Love the idea and am interested what sort of light you installed and the form. I need something which is visible from both sides of my cockpit, but dont want it too HAL-looking!Thanks, Mike.
