EMS10 oil temp over reading in Jabiru 3300

I bought a Jabiru J230 with a brand new 3300 engine fitted with Dynon EMS10 and D100 EFIS. The oil temp has been indicating a very high temp (100c-110c in cruise and higher). I finally checked it with a separate analogue gauge and sender and determined that the EMS10 was inaccurate as the analogue gauge was reading 83c in cruise. I then checked the anaologue gauge in boiling water and it was dead accurate.

The EMS10 was set correctly to the Jabiru sensor so I tried a second sensor and it made no difference. I decided to purchase and fit a genuine Dynon sensor p/n 100409-000. Once fitted I set the EMS10 to the Dynon sensor and went for a test flight and found that the EMS10 is still over-reading by approx 13c ie no change. Can the EMS10 be re-calibrated as it is obviously very inaccurate?

Any advice would be appreciated.

How can you be sure the "other sensor" and gauge are correct?

On the jab engine the oil temp is in the sump. It depends where you pick up the temperature from, how well it earths and so on.

I can say that all the Dynon sensors and equipment on our Lycoming IO540 are pretty spot on and within range.

You need to do some calibrated independent tests to see what is true. And make sure the grounds are good. ;)
