hi,

on our aircraft sandia SAE 5-35 encoder & garmin GTX 328 transponder is installed. As per sandia SAE 5-35 calibration is required at every 24 months as per FAR 91.411. but in FAR 91.411 no calibration is given. only a check is required that the difference between the altitude shown at the transponder & by altimeter shall not exceed 125 feet.

could any one give detail procedure to check this diference.

Note that these forums are intended for Dynon Avionics customers. This doesn't sound like it involves an actual Dynon product, but, for other people out there wondering, 91.411 specifically points towards part 43 appendices E and F for tolerances. As for procedures, you should talk to an A&P for further guidance. You'll need to use one anyway for your Cessna.
