I have the D180 and just hooked up my Ray Allen position sensor to GP3. Even though I don't have the wings attached yet, I wanted to do a rough calibration just to check things out. When I started the cal, I noticed the default indication to be 500, I then followed the cal instructions, moved the flap arm to the next postions. As the flap arms moved to the next postion I see the 500 count down to a lower number. But, after stopping at each of the positions the counts move back up to the 500 value.
I pressed on with the cal and sure enough the flap indicator is all over the place. I reran the cal many times and changed things up a bit and I'm sure I'm doing it right. I double checked my connections and they are fine. The question is, is there a problem with my Dynon, my cal, or the position sensor? What can I do to check the position sensor?
Thanks
