Since a few weeks ago, the oil temp jump erratically from normal values to low values, causing engine speed alarm.
My engine is a Rotax 914UL, this running normally, all other parameters show normal values.

Since upgrade to V14 the problem is constant. (this is very annoying)

Please i need your help ASAP, in this issues:

1.-  How to correct this problem?.
2.-  How to turn off the audible alarm?

Carlos, Your widgets don't look right to me. Check your range settings on oil temp and oil pressure. Looks like a range was dropped in the upgrade. Don't think I remember seeing any black ranges on mine, although I'm running a Lycoming and using preset widgets. I just changed ranges on mine to match what I wanted. Also, what about the MAP? Is this a turbocharged engine? 30" MAP at 11,500 feet seems a mite high if it's not.

RKORFF - Thanks for your comments...

My engine is Rotax 914 TURBO and the ranges for Oil temp can not be changed  :-[, the widgets are by default.

I'm live in Bogota Colombia at 8400 feet and the normal altitude to fly is 11,500 feet even at times I have flown at altitudes of 16,500 feet to cross the Andes Mountains.

Understand you are turbocharged, so 30" reading is correct. Still Carlos, on your widgets for oil temp and oil pressure, you have ranges showing in black. It seems that those ranges are disabled. Go into setup>EMS Setup>Sensor Setup and see if any ranges are not enabled. Might mix up your audio alarms if they aren't enabled.

The black range is what you get before the oil temperature gets hot enough to boil off water in the engine. If it's erratic, it's almost certainly an intermittent connection to the sensor or a sensor that's going bad. Note that the oil temp and the CHTs on the Rotax engines are the same sensor just going to different inputs. In other words, you have other sensors on the same engine that are working OK, which points away from a software or other issue that would be explained by some other common problem.
