Expert Mode A/P IAS knob issue

All,

I have been working through the tuning of the autopilot for my Sportsman 2+2. I'm now working on the expert mode with the IAS with TRK functions selected. When I engage the system it properly sync's the current IAS and everything seems fine. However, when I have tried to change the IAS bug by 10 knots using the knob, the IAS only increases, no matter which direction I twist the knob.

I disengaged and pondered a few minutes before trying it again, but this time using the NOSE UP and NOSE DN buttons to adjust the IAS bug. In this case all worked well (both increasing and decreasing the IAS value).

Am I doing something wrong here? Not sure why the IAS will only increase with the knob...

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does the knob work for other functions like heading or alt? That almost sounds like the knob is damaged. Does it increase each time you click the knob, or every other click?

The knob provides only the capability to increase the value of the item selected. So far I've been easily able to work around this, since I have 2 screens and thus 4 knobs,,,

Sounds like I might need to send this back for repair?
