External Battery on D100

I understand that pin 15 on the D100 25 pin connector is for an external backup battery but, does this pin have power to charge the external battery when normal power is available to the D100? If not what would be the suggested method of charging the external backup battery?

Jon,

I think nobody's replied to this question because they may have got stuck on the "external battery" description. If you're asking about charging the internal battery, this happens during normal operation while the EFIS is powered on through normal power, not the bckup power.

Thanks for answering but, I talked to the folks at Dynon and found the answer. I was refering to the external battery pin 15 connection which is different from the internal battery. Pin 15 is for those who have a second battery that can be used if the primary electrical system has problems. It is separate from the backup battery. It requires a charging system independent from the D100. It does not charge through the D100.
