Hi! I am very new here so I hope this is ok to post. I got a call from the FAA telling me that ADS-B information being sent from my plane is wrong. I have attached a report from the FAA. This is a fairly new plane (Sky Arrow) and the Dynon came installed. I have an SV-D1000, SN 6065. I have no clue how to correct the information being emitted. Is this something I can change? Would an avionics shop know how to correct this? I am paraplegic so it would be difficult to get it to the avionics shop so if this is something I can change that would be easier. Thanks!

David,
From that report, it looks like your ADS-B is mis-configured. It's not hard to fix.

Someone has entered "222222" for your ICAO address, which is assigned to a Swearingen Merlin turboprop with the tail number N600DL.

You need to do two things:

1) Go to: http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/nnum_inquiry.aspx and type in your N number.

On that page, there will be a column "Mode S Code (base 16 / hex)". Write down these 6 digit / letters

2) Next time you are in the plane, go into setup mode (hold down buttons 7 & 8 at the same time)

Scroll to TRANSPONDER SETUP. Move over to "AIRCRAFT HEX CODE" and replace the 222222 with the letters from the FAA website.

Also check your "tail number" on this page. If it's wrong, back up and go to SYSTEM SETUP -> AIRCRAFT INFORMATION set it there.

Feel free to give us a call from your plane and we can walk you through this.
