Fahrenheit or Celsius

Hello All,

So I live in the land down under, and we use Celsius for temp, and was wondering how many here have changed their Skyviews from F to C. I have gotten use to it for CHT and EGT, but I wished I could change just the Carb Temp to C. That would be great!

Anyone running all in C?

I run everything in C and pressure in Bars. That’s with a Rotax 912iS. Weird that when I’m behind a Lycoming (or at work with a Pratt or GE) I like C and PSI 🙂.

Fill your boots either way 😁. A lot of us use Fahrenheit for everything except O.A.T. & psi so that we can use an online program like Savvy Analysis to check on engine data etc.😉

Hello Birddog,
Do you have a Lycoming engine? I would be very interested to know what carburetor temperatures you are experiencing. The picture is from yesterday. 6°C OAT but 25°C Carb Temp. Is that normal?

Hey Knut

So here is one from the other day - and yes - I run a Lycoming 0360.

Outside is 10C. Carbie Temp is 76F which I think is about 25C, so you would be right on the money!
