Failed Battery test with new battery

I have a Sirius TL 3000 with Dynon 7" sky view, the system is about 3 years old Recently I did the battery test which started at about 10.7 volts and failed. I replaced the battery with a new battery it again only showed about 10.7 volts after flying for about 40 mins. The test failed on the new battery. The screen is showing 13.8 volts at 5100 rpm when I was flying.

Where do I start to try and sort this out?

40 minutes isn't quite enough to charge a discharged battery, though you should see better than that. First of all, are you on the latest system software (currently 10.1)? Next, what do you see in SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP > BATTERY BACKUP STATUS while you're flying. The battery status and charge status lines are both interesting here.
