Failure of SkyView D1000 on First Flight

First flight yesterday in our RV-12.

A few minutes into flight, SkyView D1000 screen froze several times and rebooted three times, generating a System Event 3.  Not a good thing to have on a first flight with loss of stall warning and airspeed/altitude.  Accomplished a 1-2-5 button reset, but failures continued.

Fortunately, a well-qualified chase pilot was able to help with return to field.

Firmware version was most recent 15.1 and all databases were current.

Will contact Support today.

No... The Skyview worked fine during setup and calibration before first flight. The freezes and reboots started about 2 minutes after the initial takeoff.

Thanks.  Your Tech Support responded quickly to me today and arranged an RMA to repair the unit at no cost.  Your customer service is superb.
