Firmware loading

Downloaded 12.0 and loaded it onto my 7 inch SV unit and it updated all the other components. Received the software mismatch message and went to load the 10 inch SV unit and it doesn't recognize that the thumb drive is in the USB port. Now I also get the BIG red X on the PFD screen on the 10 in. display. Can't find a fix on the forum or FAQ's.

Do you have a USB flash drive already plugged in (perhaps with charts)? If so, SkyView can only recognize one USB flash drive at a time, and if it already has one inserted, it won't recognize the second one.

That is exactly the case. I just installed the Seattle Avionics and the USB for that was in place. Thank you as always, Mike
