Question about using a contact widget to indicate flaps up or down. Using the widget wizard, I created the alert button but now I need to link to the 'Flaps Overspeed' audio when exceeding Vfe. I have a micro-switch that basically provide a binary indication of the flaps on my RV12.

So it turns out that the tip I got from Dynon is to label the switch as 'position' vs. 'contact'. and name it FLAPS. Then it will need to be calibrated under 'Hardware Calibration'. The first step is for '0 Deg' with with the flaps up. Then step 2 is label it once flaps are activated - I put '20 Deg'. I now need to see that I get the 'Flags Overspeed' audio alert if Vfe is exceeded with flaps deployed. I'll check this with a syringe on the Pitot inlet.
