I have two SkyView SVD1000T and a Garmin GTN625.
I am interested in a tablet based EFB and flight planner that will let me export flight plans to both the displays.
I run android and WILL NOT run iOS.

I have used Fltplan.com for many years and am somewhat familiar with Fltplan Go. I use WingX Pro and sometimes AVARE, but I'm a beginner in both. While I flew lots of IFR cross-country up until 10 years ago, more recently it's been VFR close-to-home and I'm out of touch.

My plane will now fly IFR (but I will not fly it hard IFR - it's mostly good for busting a deck) and I am flying it 200 to 500 miles a trip with more likely in the future.

I'm willing to learn another program if it fits the bill and is not iOS based.

Any discussion or suggestions appreciated.

For IFR flying your plan really needs to be in the GTN, and this will crossfire to the SV system by itself.

I am not aware of any apps that will force a plan into the GTN. The newer GTN product I think has that ability, but so far I have not explored that option.

Not sure what the law requires where you fly, but a "dual check" of a plan is required down here in the nanny state of Oztraylya, and the best way to satisfy that requirement here when single pilot is to put it in manually yourself (one) and then examine waypoint distance and bearing for each leg compared to the plan. Only takes a few seconds, but it achieves the goal of compliance checking.

If I am doing a VFR and scenic trip I will do a multi leg plan and send it to the SV and just not navigate with the GTN750 at all. But that is VFR.

Just one other point, and yes I am being picky. IFR is IFR, there is no such thing as soft IFR or hard IFR, ATC will treat you as IFR. It is a rule set. Think like an airline pilot. You may elect not to fly on extremely heavy IMC days, but thats not changing your planning and flying requirements. Its a serious business and should not be watered down.

Hope that helps, even if it did not give you the answer you wanted.

David,

Please don't preach to me about IFR. I have a lot of turbine and jet charter time and have flown in very significant IMC. In the US, "hard IFR" is a slang phrase which means in IMC, perhaps with some turbulence, and maybe the chance of ice, for some period of time. I used the term with that understanding in mind. It is my error to have ever mentioned the conditions in which I will fly. I regret that I introduced that distracting concept.

Of course my IFR plan needs to be in the GTN. That is why I have the GTN.

I had thought that FltPlan Go would load a flight plan into GTN and SV, but I have to verify if that is so or not. I'm looking for the experiences of those who have systems such as mine and have addressed the question of how to load a flight plan into each. I'll keep looking on my own.

Garmin is extremely selective about allowing an outside source to send route data into their certified IFR navigators. My GNS 480 will not allow it at all. I think your GTN 625 does allow it but only from a couple select sources. Garmin tech support should be able to shed light onto this for you.

Thanks - I'll follow up on that suggestion.
