Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to record or obtain past flight track logs from the dynon skyview? Or is this in the flight data log? It would be awesome if I could just get the flight track log off of the skyview for geotagging my photo data. If it is only in the flight data log how do I get the flight log file from this data?

Yes, your coordinates are constantly being recorded in the Black box log and the User Logs. The easiest way is to export the user logs to flash drive, upload them to savvyanalysis.com, and view the flight track log. I am sure it is in the manual somewhere.

With Savvy analysis you not only see all the engine information but on the bottom there is two options.
1- show flight maps
2- KML file

KML file can be opened in Google Earth and allows better viewing with satellite and other layers, flight maps is a simple map layer and no other option.

Can anyone direct me to where the directions for downloading the flight data from Skyview is, to use with Savvyanalysis?  Just started phase 1 and can't seem to find it.

The Dynon installation guide describes the logging features in Appendix F. You configure it with Setup -> System Setup -> Data Log Setup. It is exported with Setup -> System Software -> Export User Data Logs. All of the logs are in CSV format (comma-separated value) which is essentially a spreadsheet format. But the CSV files can be imported into the Savvy program (the Dynon guide even mentions this).

Thank you CG Programmer. I didn't look in the more current version of the installation guide. The one I used ended with Appendix E. I have downloaded the latest version.  Now makes sense.
