Ive just calibrated the capacitance plates in my RV7 using the dyon capacitance converters and reading on a SV. Ive noted on powering up the fuel level slowly increases over a few minutes before an accurate reading is given

is this normal?

It's technically normal, but we perhaps went to far in our slowing down of the response when we changed it in 12.0/12.2. It's there more to stop fuel sloshing - espeically while you're at mid-fuel levels - from causing momentary low fuel alarms. That said, 13.0's engine sensor definition file changes things back to being a bit faster, like it was before 12.0, and we'll be adding a slower response variant that's actually what you have now if you prefer it. 13.0 should be on the web tomorrow, in all likelyhood.
