Because I received the various sensors before the EMS was available, I installed the probes and the fuel flow sensor some time ago. One tiny instruction I apparently overlooked was to KEEP the paper tag that was attached to the fuel flow sensor. I thought it was an inventory tag, and didn't know that I would need the number written on it to calibrate the EMS.
If I read the instructions correctly, I can still (eventually) have accurate fuel flow readings if I run several tanks through and adjust the EMS to reflect the known quantities that were burned. However, until then, is there some average value that I can plug in until I'm flying and can then more fully calibrate the EMS?
