Please can you help:-
We have an EMS-D120 installed in a Polaris with a Rotax 912 engine.
Fuel Flow reading remains on 0 LPH. Another transducer gives the same result. The transducer is fitted in the pipe between the mechanical fuel pump and the splitter going to the two carburettors.
If we disconnect the two hose ends and blow gently into the transducer we get flow of 20-30 LPH. As soon as we connect the piping, flow remains at 0 LPH while the engine is running.
Thank you
Regards

CJ,
You've done the test we'd suggest (blowing through the sender), so we're at just as much of a loss as you are. Clearly it's wired right and can spin freely, so it sure seems like you're not actually flowing fuel through there.

We're not super experts on the Rotax engines, so you may need to ask someone more experienced in the fuel layout of the engine.

This is a long shot but maybe the Rotax has a fuel return line, and you are in that not the supply to the engine......................

Just a thought!

In case someone else has this problem. We found that we had 12V on the voltage line coming out of the Dynon without the transducer connected. We connected the transducer which dropped the voltage to around 5V. We connected the Transducer to the 12V input which has sorted out the problem.
