Fuel Gage Calibration Failure

So I have calibrated my fuel gages twice. The first time both failed calibration. The second time was successful with the left tank but the right tank gage failed again. On the 2nd to last pour I got an error message "Voltage did not change from previous level, do you want to proceed". I said "Yes" and completed the last pour, clicked on "Add", "Full" and got the dreaded "Failed Calibration" message and was not rewarded with a little white line on the right gage display. As you know, this is a tedious process. Is there any way to edit the fuel calibration data screen so that it will accept the calibration? Thanks.

You're going to have to provide a lot more info...type of fuel level sensors? If capacitive, what converters? Etc.

unfortunately there is no way to shortcut the calibration process that I am aware of. you don’t say what type of aircraft you have but this is a problem on the RV range where the sensor reaches the top of the tank well before it is full due to the dihedral. I had exactly the same problem when I last did mine and had to repeat the process. Worked ok second time around.

Thanks guys. I got it calibrated without draining fuel and repouring it 2 gals at a time for the 3rd time. I have an RV9A with resistive senders. I opened the respective L-R gage calibration pages and edited the voltages and gallons for the last 2 points until the gage indications were correct (Full, 17 gal). Thanks for your help.
