Fuel pressure cofiguration required?

New hdx installed with a fuel pressure sensor installed on gravity fed system. Fuel psi bar shows a red x over it when on. I can not see in the manual where a configuration is required. What additional is required?

In setup (hold keys 7&8) check for the EMS definitions of the channels, there should be a fuel pressure definition with the correct sensor type defined for the input pin of the EMS. In the debug screen you should be able to see the value that the sensor channel is measuring and the conversion into the engineering value

I flew again this morning. It looks like p8 is where my programmed fuel is however it is reading no value. P9 shows pitot heat but i dont have pitot heat. It does show a value that could be the pressure of my gravity fed cub headerless system. Thoughts?

It could be, but both pin 8 and pin 9 show RAW input values that seem to indicate that nothing is connected to that channel. The resulting value for the pin 9 contact channel is just that it converts to a reasonable value and not a nan (Not a Number, meaning the conversion from raw value to engineering value produces something that is out of limits).
It all depends on how your EMS channels have been wired. For the KAVLICO pressure sensors in addition to the signal wire and ground being connected to the sensor also the +5 Volt supply (also from the EMS) for the sensor needs to be connected.
