Recently filled my two fuel tanks for leak checks. Previously had defined my tank quantity sensors and fuel quantity widgets with initial colored ranges. With full tanks (but no calibration accomplished) one of my tanks is displaying the ? CAL but with ranges displayed on the widget, and the other tank quantity widget is showing the ? CAL, but with no ranges displayed. Prior to filling my tanks I had both widgets displaying the ranges I had defined. What gives?

I assume you havent calibrated the fuel tanks yet, just set up ranges? That could be why you are getting the ?cal. The other thing I have seen is that sometimes after setting a long time, the resistance float gets varnish built up on the windings and you get and the resistance goes real high.

Ranges and sensors are set up identically for each tank. Successfully calibrated left tank, tried twice on the right tank, but nojoy! During calibration attempts, the tank did read voltage values (changing with fill pours) consistent with a properly reading fuel sender and similar to the tank which was successfully calibrated. The fuel total reflects properly in the total, but I can't get any indication on the widget. Also can someone explain this msg I received during my first attempt on the tank which did not take a successful calibration? Thanks for all thoughts and ideas. :-/

So the message on the screen is just the automatic discrepancy notifier between the fuel computer (in which you tell the system what you have on board, and then fuel flow is used to subtract as fuel goes the fuel flow sensor) and the actual tank sensors. So for now, ignore that.
What message did you get when you tried to finish the calibration though? The most common reason for a calibration to be unsuccessful, like you're seeing on that right tank, is that the voltages double back the way they started, which makes it impossible to accurately know the quantity indications. If there is a table stored in the calibration page, can you grab pictures of that or even just all of the values from that table?

OK, finally got my tank calibrated. Had to do the required amount of pours as determined by the software for my tank capacity, then accept a "bad" calibration. After doing that, I was able to go in an edit the calibration table with the values I was observing during the calibration. Resulted in a completed calibration which I can "tweak" some more as I get some experience with actual fuel burn.
