Fuel tank calibration

I am about ready to do the fuel calibration. I have 21 gallon tanks and was planning on using 2 gallon increments in the flight attitude. Is it possible or necessary to also do the calibration in the 3 point attitude for more accurate readings on the ground? Any suggestions on increments or procedure are most welcome.

I did two gallon increments in my best approximation of max endurance flight attitude.

I have two suggestions:
[olist][*]Be patient--give the readings longer than you think to stabilize before moving on to the next point.
[*]WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN!  I thought I was smart; I wasn't.  You really don't want to do this twice!

Can't speak from any taildragger experience but I would calibrate for flight and learn the difference in readings on the ground.  That worked well enough in my old Long-EZ which fueled about 25 degrees nose down.

As Louis mentioned, set a level flight attitude -- do the best you can.  I brought a digital level and ramps to the fuel pump and leveled my airplane fore and aft, left and right before starting.

I did not want to empty the left tank so I just calibrated the right tank and copied-and-pasted from the .DFG file's RIGHT LEVEL "calibration tree" to the LEFT LEVEL.

On my -10 I had two different settings for each side. I also needed to go back after a few hours and recalibrate, "on the fly" specific points (which I matched to my redcube- which is .02 accurate at every fillup). In the end It shows pretty close to actual.

I have tried to make the RH tank the same on screen in the setup/edit page, but it still reads empty. Can you please describe the process you have followed. Thanks.
