"Fuel used" is being reset at next power up.

I've just finished installing a FT-60 flow sender in our Rotax 912S Pioneer 300. All works fine in the air with sensible flow rates and Skyviews datalogs show the EMS sees oil pressure and fuel remaining reducing (there is no "fuel used" in the logs).

The Skyview user guide states fuel used (in my case "Ltrs Used") does not get reset until the next startup oil pressure. Mine is being reset to zero the next time I turn on the master switch so the fuel used is lost. The engine has not been turned over since the end of the last flight.

Running V12. Am I missing a configuration setting here?

So technically, it's looking for one of a few different things that indicate that the airplane has been restarted. This can be any of oil pressure > 15PSI, or rpm > 200 or fuel flow > 0. So if you have anything happening on any of those, you'd see a reset. So first see if any of those things are happening. If they aren't, there are some other things we can have you do by pulling a diagnostic data log that may help us see why you're experiencing the behavior you are seeing.

Thanks. My data log shows zero rpm,oil pressure and fuel flow numbers when I turned the master back on so that is a mystery. I'll do some more testing to see if I can isolate exactly when it zeros.

Hi Steve
My Skyview does the same thing. I have added "Fuel Remaining" item and I don't really need the fuel used value any more.

We may be able to help you find it if using higher frequency capture with the datalogging doesn't. Within an hour of power on time since the event happens across power ups, note the date/time time of the reset on power up, export a Dynon Diagnostics File (not the normal data log), upload it here, and be sure to put a link to this thread and a short description, along with the time it happened in the message field.

Diagnostic file uploaded as requested.

A subsequent ground run showed up an anomaly between "fuel remaining" and "fuel used". Data Logs show the 'fuel remaining' difference was greater than than the 'fuel used' displayed on the screen at shut down.

During this run the fuel used was observed to 'glitch' reducing by about .8ltr possibly to zero then carried on incrementing.  Logs show fuel remaining decreased normally throughout. This time the fuel used WAS retained on the next power up.

I am also seeing the V12 date anomaly mentioned elsewhere on the forum. GPS date is logged 1 day early. e.g. 20th Feb flight was logged as 19th Feb.
