The question came up about audio needed for AoA for landing and I guess I'm not understanding why?
I've flown behind an AoA for 6+ years and I love it. It does have audio feedback when way into the red region and lets me know how much more "pull" i can do when doing acro. However it doesn't make any sound during landing...
During landing I use the AoA as a standard approach, and the approach area is not anywhere near the red area. Also, when you fly an approach today with out AoA, you reference the airspeed indicator frequently right? So the AoA allows you to reference AoA instead of the Airspeed Indicator.
I don't see the need for immediately getting audio for landing? Acro, sure. what am I missing?
Thanks,
