Future Lowrance D180 Hook-up

Once the firmware is updated to accomodate the Lowrance Airmap 500, how would I go about wiring the GPS to my D180? Instructions should start with "go to the store and get..."

First, go the Lowrance online store and get either of the cables with the serial out.

Then, you'll connect the Lowrance serial output wire to pin 19 (on the 37 pin connector) on your D180, per the latest installation guide (which is available at www.dynonavionics in PDF format as well).

Okay, the only cable I see on the Lowrance site is a PC data cable. Is that what I want?
The programmers must be tired of going to Fiji by now.

For anyone else that reads this, I bought the PC Data cable that includes the cigarette lighter power cord.
