Is it possible to check the G reading of the D180 without sending it in?  I believe my D180's G setting has gone bad once again.

On the ground, the G reading should be 1.0 G.

On either of the left or right info items when you have it up on the display. To bring it up, go to the INFO menu, then LEFT or RIGTH, then GMETER. Once it's up, you'll see the current, min and max Gs on the three line items.

One caveat - if you have a taildragger, you might see .9 when on the ground, as the EFIS will be slightly tilted.

But I'm guessing, from your original post, that you might be experiencing an attitude performance issue? If so, give our support team a call at 425-402-0433 so that we can go through what you're seeing in more detail.
