Garmin 250XL inteface to D100

I have had Garmin 250XL unit connected to my D100 after a recent firmware upgrade. I cannot see any response on the D100 heading bug to waypoint or navigation entries on the 250XL. Am I missing something here as Dynon "newby"?

How do you have the 250XL connected to the EFIS-D100.

Have you selected NAV mode?

The 250XL is wired to the 100EFIS. The 100EFIS and the 120EMS are connected together through the DSAB (dynon smart avionics bus)
I have tried "direct to" navigation on the 250XL to a local waypoint with no response on the D100 display.

First off, what are all of your serial port settings on each device?
