Garmin GNC 355 comm integration with Skyview?

I have Skyview HDX system, along with a Garmin SL-30 Nav/Comm and a Garmin GPS 496 as backup. I am considering pulling the 496 and installing either the new Garmin GPS 175 or GNC 355 (Basically a GPS 175 with Comm). The notion of having a backup comm radio is appealing, and due to panel constraints the GNC 355 would be ideal for having GPS approaches as well as a second com radio.

Does anybody know if Skyview can interact with the com in the GNC 355 via RS-232 as it does with the SL-30? To be more specific, tune the radio from the airport info page and display current comm frequencies on the top of the display?

I would think you would need an ARINC-429 interface to make it play properly but your best bet would be to poke Dynon an see.

ARINC is needed to feed Skyview GPS info from the Garmin box for IFR approaches. Not involved in COM data. I seem to recall another thread where Dynon said they don't talk to the new radios for frequency select, likely because it is now a Garmin protocol. The SL-30 and protocol came from the company that Garmin purchased (Apollo).
