Will a combination of a Garmin GNS 430W connected to the Skyview system with your SV-ARINC-429 and attached transponder SV-XPNDR-429 provide for compliant 2020 ADS-B out capabilities?

Yes. That is the exact setup I have in my airplane, but you don't use the ARINC-429 module for ADS-B. The G430W must be connected directly to the transponder for 2020 compliance as per the installation instructions. But once connected and both the G430W and the SkyView system are cofigured correctly, the set up is fully 2020 compliant.

Make sure you have the SV-XPNDR-261, not the 262.

Thank you for the response. After going back and re-reading some of the manuals, correct me if I am wrong, but utilizing the ARINC-29 module allows you to draw the GPS information from the 430 for the moving maps and for the Skyview to provide altitude information for the ADS-B out correct? Or is the does the 430 provide its own altitude reference?

The transponder's baro altitude altitude reference for normal mode-C altitude reporting comes from SkyView, but the full 3D GPS fix for ADS-B would come from the 430W (it's not technically just altitude ADS-B cares about, it's your entire lat/long/alt GPS fix). And to clarify, it's only the 430W, not the 430, that will give the transponder a ADS-B 2020 mandate compliant position, not the original 430 (you've already said 430W earlier but just wanted to make sure it remains clear to everyone).

And yes, when you use the ARINC module, SkyView can display the 430's flight plane both graphically and visually on SkyView's moving map.

I'm getting ready to install my SV-XPNDR-261 along with my GNS-430W. My question is, do I need a different serial port coming from my GNS-430W going to the SV-XPNDR-261 separate from the 430W port going to the Skyview directly as a nav source. I believe you can have only one port coming from the 430W for each serial function. On the 430W, is the ADS-B serial output function different than the one used for the standard nav source function going to the Skyview? Or can I use the same serial output from the 430W to feed both the Skyview and the transponder? This was not clear in the documentation that I've read so far. Thanks.

Yes, you need separate ports and wires. The one going to SkyView is AVIATION format, and the one going to the transponder is ADS-B+ format.
