GDU 370 to Skyview

I have tried to connect my GPS to my Skyview HSI nav function without success. I believe it is wired correctly. The problem seems to be when I look at the list of supported GPSs my Garmin, panel mounted, GDU 370 is not among those on the list. I have tried to connect all of the other Garmins that are on the list and get no indication of a connection. Any suggestions?

A GDU370 is a re-packaged Garmin 696.

As far as we know it should work the same. The most common issue with the Garmin x96 series is the need to set the NMEA output on "NORMAL" not "FAST" under advanced settings for the HSI to work.

Aslso, make sure your firmware is up to date. Garmin had at least one release with the 696 that broke the data output.
