"GPS 1 Fail" message

While flying yesterday I got a Caution alert on my Skyview Classic running 15.0.3 software, the message box said "GPS 1 Fail", but I still had a good solid lock on both my Skyview GPS2020 constellation status screen and on my Garmin 430W feeding to your ARINC-429. I could not get the message to clear, despite obviously having a good GPS lock on both devices. I did grab a diagnostic file if you want to see that.

What gives?

GPS1 is the Garmin, isn't it, coming through the ARINC box?

I'd suspect the ARINC box is at fault. Of all the components in the system, this one seems to me to be the most temperamental...I've had the system lose info from the 430W for brief spurts, occasionally, when I *know* the 430 is chugging right along. Seems to be some sort of synchronization issue with the ARINC box.

Did you see any of these symptoms on your map or HSI (or was that set up to use the GPS2020 as its source, which means you wouldn't see any effect of a GPS1 fault)?

At the time I had my HSI slaved to the Dynon, so I didn't see any indication there. I'll have to look at the 429 and see if that's the problem.
