That will work for me, I have the Dynon GPS, and a Garmin 696. So I'd be happy with it working as a HSI input.

You should have altitude data with extended data enabled. See Installation Manual P62 Figure 18 fourth from last parameter, pressure altitude. Can you see it in the log that has extended data enabled?

Pressure altitude comes from when you have an altitude encoder hooked up. Which in our system, is almost always SkyView. So we'd be reading back our own pressure altitude!

We need GPS altitude. That's what all mapping, terrain, and SynVis is based upon. If we were willing to use pressure altitude we could use our local sensors.

Just a follow-up on an old post with some great news!! I upgraded to version 2.5 today and I was excited to see my GX60 start talking to the SkyView!! On the PFD screen when you select Navsource I now get info sent to the HSI from the GX60!!! Thank you Dynon!!!
