Hello,

I have two issue. My iPad will join the Skyview Wi-fi network but for some reason the aircraft position isn't shown.

Also, when I land the HDX doesn't automatically switch to show the chart with the airplane on the airport diagram. Is there a setting to make it do this?

thanks!

Issue #1- you didn't say which software you are running on the iPad.
Issue #2- there is no option in Skyview to switch to airport diagram after landing.

not sure what you mean about the iPad. But aircraft position is usually controlled by the app ( shown at center or 30%) and that is driven by GPS, so if there is no GPS there will not be a aircraft on screen. I get my gps signal from ADSB directly as well as traffic and weather Display on IPad. I do not have the Dynon ADSB/transponder however, if you do it’s on your display anyway.

But, if you press and hold the map knob once you've landed, you'll get the airport diagram (if one exists for the airport.)

I should add for those that don't know- you only get the airport charts (or any other charts for that matter) if you have a subscription to Seattle Avionics Charts.
