Hi I am doing the flight testing for our LAA permit issue in UK. I have a GPS 250 and I get a message "GPS lost" but the map page shows the correct position info. I can find a warning "GPS fail" listed in the installation manual. That doesn't seem to apply. Do I just assume the problem is not in the aircraft?

Do not assume that. The system can keep the map current using airspeed and heading. Go into setup and look at the GPS satellite reception. Then go further and make sure you are getting good traffic and not accumulating errors on Serial Port 5.
