Hall Effect

Does the D180 support a Hall Effect sensor to read current? This would provide me a cleaner install and two less big wire connections. I know Advanced sells a Hall Effect for amperage but have not found other senesors. If the D180 does support this, which sensors are known to work?

We support the one GRT sells, but that's the only one.

Thanks for the information. Since it is supported, can I assume that once installed it is chosen from a configuration menu or does it not matter in that the output is the same two wires?

You go into the AMPS sensor in the setup menu and choose a different sensor. You do need to tell it.
