Handcuffed on BU Battery test

So I need to do a BU Battery test but as I follow the instructions (power up, remove main batter power, hit "stay on" button) but when I get to the step that says hit button 8 to start the BU Battery test . . . I can't. Button 8 is "blocked" with a Caution flag (ADSB offline, BU Battery test needed, Other display off line, etc.) and I can't seem to clear that Caution to be able to use Button 8 to initiate the BU Battery Test.

What am I missing ?

I do know the system needs to have a good GPS fix to establish the time/date of the testing, so be sure you have the avionics tuned on and a good GPS fix. Don’t know I& that’s your issue, but thought I’d share that tidbit of information.
