HDX update 16.0.8 dtd 2 Dec 2021 failed. HDX display will not boot up any more.

Tried to load the latest update file this morning (SkyView_16_0_8_US_Package_HDX1100_Dec02.duc , from 2 Dec), and it failed. It ran for about 4-5 minutes, (re booted once that I saw), and got to the point where it was cleaning databases, then screen went dark then light Grey but nothing else happened.. I waited a good long time (5-6 minutes) before cycling power, but now it will not restart.

Is there some way to restore the last update?

Update:
I tried to boot up the display one more time, after about an hour or two, and it now works, and the update was successful. I am leaving this [post here in case anyone else experiences similar symptoms. I am somewhat concerned as to why this happened... Obviously, if whatever caused this happened during the update process it could, potentially also happen during some critical phase of flight. I am going to check all the wiring into the DB37 harness, but I can't think of anything else that might be responsible.

Tried again today, and display is still functioning normally. I am emailing you as well. Do you want logs or diagnostics files?

I uploaded 16.2 yesterday, and I got similar behavior. Partway through the load, the screen went black and nothing else happened. Eventually, I cycled the power, and the file load picked up where it was interrupted. Eventually, it finished, and the normal screen appeared.

Do you want another fresh diagnostics file?

P.S. Whatever is causing this, thanks for building a process that can recover from a system update failure like this on its own, without having to ship the thing back to the factory.
