My Garmin 750 GTN keeps asking in the message page that it is not receiving Heading information ( magnetic )
I do not recall if it has always told me this, or only lately.
The installation and the 429 ARINC seems to be working well in all other respects. Is Skyview putting out this information?
If so, Is there a specific GTN setting that must be enabled for this function.?
:-?

We do send out label 320: Magnetic Heading, over ARINC. I can't say I'm familiar enough with the GTN to know whether there's a GTN-based setting that might cause the GTN to not recognize that it's there.

This works fine for me. The GTN initially shows north up in the map, but as soon as the SkyView GPS acquires a position, the GTN slews around to be oriented with my current heading at the top. I don't recall having to do anything specific to enable this on the GTN.

Woorks for me also. I dont remember doing anything extra during the setup.

during flight the map on the GTN is oriented flight track up but the nose of the airplane icon is pointed in the heading direction. Is nice for quick glance orientation when flying an approach to land.
