Hey Dynon support, System Event 5 message logged

Filled out the form, appeared to be in working order. Reboot cleared the error but there you go. I have replaced nearly every component on my Dynon system since I bought the plane last fall. To be fair it was installed in 2015 so I guess I'm reaching some limits. Dynon has been absolutly AWESOME taking care of me.

For those who don't know system event 5 means the SSD hard drive is dying and needs to be replaced. Hurray.

Ughh... I got my first System 5 error on my HDX this past week. These HDX displays are barely a year old.

Well that stinks. I shipped mine out and had it back in my hands less than two weeks later. I'm also pretty local to them so shipping only takes a day, which helps. Get it swapped out, Dynon will take care of you.

Lancair360 I'm starting to see some event 5 error messages and my units are also about 5 years old. Are you saying swapping the hard disks out was still covered by Dynon? I'm in New Zealand so before I pull the panels out I was trying to get some more information

Dynon can confirm but when I contacted them with this they told me it was covered under warranty.
